meauring th depth of the dig (concrete)

this is me measuring the depth of the dig so we i could work out hom much concrete to order for our footing.

This is measuring the width of  footing to so i can work out how much concrete we need for the footing.

here we came across a pipe so we had to dig another nine iches below
the pipe which is standard when you come across any pipe the building surveyor tolds to keep this depth right the way through.

This is me shoveling out what i had just dug out with a pick axe
i shovled it into a gorrilla tub and the labour emtied the bucket
on the back of the truck.

Here i am digging down to get the depth of the footing. we had to dig further as the
ground we came to wasnt suitable for us to lay the concrete on.

setting out footing

this is me spraying the area where the footing is to be dug down. i had just measured
it out according to the drawing.
